Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov raised the issue of the ongoing modernization of CHP-2 and CHP-3 in Almaty during a Government meeting. Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy, Kairat Maksutov, reported that the implementation of these projects is under special control. The contractor has been instructed to intensify work and introduce a three-shift construction schedule. In the near future, about 1,500 workers will be engaged at the sites, and the main equipment has already been delivered.
