The Ministry of National Economy Announces Timeline for New Minimum Wage Decision in Kazakhstan

The final decision on increasing the minimum wage will depend on the budgetary capacity for 2027, First Vice Minister of National Economy Azamat Amrin said during a government briefing. According to Amrin, the issue of raising the minimum wage has been under consideration for a long time and has been included in the draft Comprehensive Plan for Increasing Household Incomes for 2026–2029. The Ministry of National Economy has announced the timeline for determining a new minimum wage in Kazakhstan. The final decision will be made after assessing the country's budgetary resources for 2027.
