In the 1990s, at the legendary Palace of Pioneers in Almaty (later renamed the Palace of Schoolchildren), young ballerinas performed on the grand stage in classical costumes. The photo captures both their ceremonial performance and rehearsal moments. Built between 1979 and 1983, the venue was designed for 2,200 students and hosted around 80 clubs, including choreography — a vivid memory of the cultural vibrancy of youth in those years.
