The awareness-raising project From Chronicle to Future of the TV and Radio Complex of the President of Kazakhstan has reached Shymkent, following screenings in Astana, Kyzylorda, and Turkistan. Local audiences were shown the documentary Aral, whose protagonist is Kungutugan Turganbayev, an elderly fisherman who has spent his entire life fishing.
