The Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, met with the President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, in Akorda. As per tradition, an honor guard was formed in the ceremonial hall to mark the visit of the distinguished guest. The presidential orchestra performed the national anthems of both countries. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Bajram Begaj walked along the red carpet to the State Flag of Kazakhstan, after which the meeting between the heads of state in a narrow format began.
