The new face of Almaty: what the former Presidential Residence site looks like now

A new park has opened in Almaty on the site of the former Presidential Residence — not yet officially inaugurated, but already a favorite spot among locals. The new green space spans more than 4 hectares, located west of Nazarbayev Avenue and north of Gandhi Street. Its official opening was initially planned to coincide with Republic Day, but has been postponed to early November. Despite this, residents are already actively visiting the park, sharing photos and videos from their walks on social media.
