Starting over is a film about a man who left behind city life for the steppe. Zhanibek Kenzhibayev, a lawyer and businessman, decided to build a farm in the heart of Kazakhstan. Instead of the warmth and comfort of rural life he had imagined, he was met with cold, loneliness, and challenges he was unprepared for. Yet it was in this harsh environment that he discovered himself and a new sense of purpose.
