The session was chaired by the Head of the Congress Secretariat, Chairman of the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Maulen Ashimbayev. Kazakhstan has become an important example of building bridges between representatives of religions and cultures. This was stated at the forum in the capital by Abdulrahman Al-Zaid, Deputy Secretary-General of the Muslim World League.
