Professional skydiver Oleg Toshchev deployed the largest flag of Kazakhstan during a parachute jump. The flag, measuring 800 square meters, is twice the size of the flag on the main flagpole of the capital (450 square meters). It has entered the Kazakhstan Records Book.

The "Ashyk Aspan" event, dedicated to Republic Day, took place in the sky over the Almaty region against the backdrop of the Zailiyskiy Alatau mountains.

The jump was made from an altitude of 3,000 meters, higher than the famous Shymbulak ski resort," said one of the event organizers, Tlek Kanalin.
