Child - a child is a descendant of parents, their offspring. Depending on gender, a child is classified as a boy or a girl, and by age: newborn, infant, young child, preschooler, adolescent, young man, or young woman. The period from a child's birth until they reach adulthood is encompassed by the concept of "child." In Kazakhstan, a person who reaches 18 years of age is officially considered an adult. "A child is under the protection of the state. The care and upbringing of children is a natural right and duty of parents" (Article 27 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan).
