Kazinform is Kazakhstan’s leading state news agency with international status. It was founded on August 13, 1920, as the Orenburg-Turgai branch of  ROSTA. For more than a century, it has provided timely and reliable news on politics, economy, education, healthcare, sports, and culture.

The agency delivers official information on the activities of the Presidential Administration, Parliament, Government, regional authorities, and national companies. Its news is published in Kazakh, Russian, English, Chinese, and Uzbek, as well as in Latin script and Töte jazu for Kazakh communities abroad.

Headquartered in Astana, Kazinform operates a wide correspondent network across all regions of Kazakhstan and internationally, including Russia, China, Turkey, Europe, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Jordan.
