Kadyr Ginyatuly Myrzaliev, Kadyr Myrza Ali (1935–2001) – poet, People’s Writer of Kazakhstan (1995), co-author of the first national anthem of Kazakhstan. He was born on January 5, 1935, in the town of Zhympity, Uralsk Region. In 1958, he graduated from the Faculty of Philology at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. He authored more than 50 collections of poetry, literary-critical works, and children’s books. Many of his poems have been translated into Russian, English, French, Bulgarian, Polish, Finnish, and other languages of the world.
